Meet Lisa.

Lisa came to Ecuador by way of Texas, originally planning on doing a gap year in South America to travel and volunteer. Her decision to come to Quito and volunteer for UBECI later found her accepting a leadership role within the foundation — a commendable offer considering it was her first time living abroad, at the tender age of 19!

Se presentnos: Adam.

Adam Torres hails from Ohio, U.S.A., and has been teaching English in Cuenca since June of 2010. While he genuinely enjoys teaching, he came to Ecuador to focus more on working with the underprivileged, and linked up with the local foundation, Soluciones Comunitarias, via another organization he worked for in the States.

Meet Caitlin. This GoGo do-gooder volunteered in Quito, Ecuador for six months. During her time there she not only made a huge impact on the market-children she worked with, but also helped the small Quito-based non-profit, UBECI, drastically improve their day to day functionality. The GoGo Team would like to recognize her for all that she offered to the people of Ecuador by giving her our honorary GoGo Spotlight award.
