Good news for those looking to permanently relocate in Cuenca: no more trips back and forth to Quito’s immigration office!

Visas, including those for residency, can now be processed in Cuenca. Applicants can file in person (there is no need to pay an attorney). Personnel are bi-lingual. The office handles new applications only (applications filed in Quito must be completed there).
